On the walking tour we will see all the main highlights of Helsinki. We will walk around the Market square and Old harbor, see the famous Fish market, Senate square with the Monument to Russian Emperor Alexander I, the great Lutheran Cathedral and Orthodox Dormition cathedral, walk the main street of Helsinki, see the magnificent architectural masterpiece by Elieil Saarinen – Helsinki main railway station and of course – monument to the prominent ruler of Finland – marshal Gustav Mannerheim.
After seeing the central part of the city you have free time to explore on own, to have lunch of do some souvenir shopping.

View itinerary

10:00	Meeting the guide at the exit gate on the harbor.
10:00-10:15	Transfer to the city center by a tram. Tram is often recommended to the guests of the city as a mean of sightseeing. You will get 24 hour ticket.
10.15-13.00	Walking tour of the city center of Helsinki. You will see Market square and Old harbor, Senate square with the monument to Russian Emperor Alexander I, the Great Lutheran Cathedral and Orthodox Dormition cathedral, monument to marshal Gustav Mannerheim. V
13:00	Guide will explain you how return back to the port, options for lunch and shopping will be recommended. Free time and return back to the ship on your own (port is 15 minutes walk. You may also use the same tram, as in the beginning of the tour).

Important

Group size: Maximum 30 people.
The representatives of our company will be waiting for you at the port near the ship - you will easily recognize them as they will be holding DenRus sign.

Restrictions

This tour is not suitable for "slow walkers" or mobility restricted persons. There is unfortunately no place to load walker devices or wheelchairs in the vehicles.
