DenRus Value Excursions “Complete St. Petersburg” and “Complete Berlin” have become extremely popular during the past 5 Baltic cruise seasons. Each year several thousands of cruisers participate on them. Our first and original 2-day “Complete St. Petersburg” tour was created in 2005 for the purpose that our guests did not need to think and choose in, what short tours they should participate in St. Petersburg, , instead they could just purchase one tour of 2-days duration covering the destination city the maximum possible way including all the “must” sites. During the past years this tour has become a legend, and a household word in the cruise chat rooms and web sites. There is no doubt, as the name says, our tours provide a most complete introduction to St. Petersburg, and to Berlin, as only possible during the limited time allowed.

These tours are offered exclusively for passengers aboard selected cruise lines, selected ships, and arriving only on specific days. We advise you to check that your ship’s name and date appears on our list before booking or contacting our office

The concept of our Complete-tours is always the same:

All in one inclusive package. - The tour itinerary includes all the most famous and most popular sights and venues of each city in one comprehensive program. - In other words, all important sites are included, museums, palaces, meals in town, shopping, photo stops… and you do not need to hesitate in which separate tours to pick.
Guaranteed departures – Each and every one of the Complete St. Petersburg and Complete Berlin tours have a guaranteed departure, so you do not need to be concerned. If you have purchased our tours, you shall also be experiencing them regardless of how many persons have booked.
Our guests have created the itineraries. – Both our St. Petersburg and Berlin tours have been created on the recommendations of our passengers, and on the governmental tourism statistical figures about the popularity and importance of each site, and location and venue. Then they are honed and improved annually based on the direct feedback received during the past season. - Read “New for 2009” below.
Value Tours are reasonably priced - Our one Complete-tour offers so many sites, that it would normally require the cruise passengers to book 4-5 separate and expensive half-day tours from their cruise ships to cover all the same sites we have included in the program. Some cruise ships do offer extended 2-day tours, however, their programs do not match ours, and they are more than $ 100 more expensive per person.
Quality guides. - We guarantee the quality of our experienced guides, all handpicked and specially trained by DenRus, masters in the languages required. All our guides have worked in the industry a minimum of 3 years.
Small groups, maximum 30 persons. - The maximum number of participants in one DenRus group (a maximum of 25 on 3-Day Complete St Petersburg tours), traveling together in one bus is never more than 30 persons. This is luxury compared with 45-50 as the cruise ships crowd their tour buses. It needs to be mentioned that these tours have no minimum number required. In fact we sometimes have operated them for just 2 lucky persons. The prices is always the same regardless of the number of participants.
Audio systems in St. Petersburg. – For each Complete St. Petersburg tour we provide audio system, which guarantees that the group members can hear their guide even from a distance.
Extras and surprises – You shall receive the “Baltic Cruise Passenger News”, our DenRus newspaper. It will provide you with general briefing, and it includes lots of interesting reading. You shall receive three issues during the year of your sailing. We shall provide bottled water for all our “Complete St. Petersburg” tour members (in St. Petersburg only), so you do not need to purchase your own. We shall celebrate all the birthdays falling on the exact days of your visit in St. Petersburg. And there will be other surprises…
Russian cruise visa is ALWAYS included and arranged by DenRus. That is why we request you to provide your personal and passport information ahead of time.

New For 2010
As always we at DenRus carefully listen to the reactions of our guests. Based on the letters received in 2009 we have now added the Catherine’s Palace to the basic 2-day itinerary. So, our guests shall have the unique opportunity to visit both the Peter the Great’s Palace, Peterhof, as well as the palace of his wife, Catherine I in Pushkin town. In the 3-day itinerary both palaces had been included already earlier.

TOUR TIMING
DenRus is ready at the port waiting for you. The “Complete St Petersburg” tours depart from the port as soon as the buses have been filled to the maximum of 30 (25 for the 3-day program) persons each. The earlier you disembark, and report to our port staff, the earlier you will be on your way and the longer your tour. This grants our guests the maximum touring time.
However, in case some passengers are delayed, we have an official starting time, which is the latest time of the departure. This is not later than 75 minutes after the ship’s official scheduled arrival time. The ship’s clearance by the Port of Authority and Immigration at each port takes just 15-20 minutes, and immediately after that the passengers are allowed to disembark. Our DenRus agents are waiting for you right after the Russian Immigration clearance at the pier.
On the first day the tour’s return time back to the ship is at 5:30 PM (17:30). Thus is sufficient time to have a dinner and to prepare for the later Russian Folkloric Show or Classical ballet performance with DenRus. On the day of your departure the tour returns to the port one hour prior to your ship’s scheduled departure time.

TOUR SITES
All the sites and destinations as mentioned in the itinerary are seen and visited with inside tours, except monuments, those sites where “outside visit only” is clearly mentioned, and the city tour and the cruise portions, which are sightseeing and photo stops only. The order in which the sites will be visited is not given because for one day on each week every museum is closed, so we are forced to rearrange the order, so those sites closed on one day will be visited on another day, and vice verse.
