Berlin and Warnemunde

Warnemunde is a picturesque, Sleeping Beauty, Baltic Sea town of about 8.000 inhabitants, and hundreds of hotel rooms, which wakes up in the summer, and turns into an attractive and active sea shore resort of thousands and thousands of tourists and vacationers. The town was established in the year 1200. After the second World War the city was part of the East-German Republic until the Berlin Wall was demolished and both parts of Germany united again. Earlier the area’s economy depended on fishing industry, then later on ship building, and today the most important livelihood is seasonal tourism, and especially Baltic Sea cruise tourism since a new Cruise Line Center for visiting ships was built just a couple of years ago. The city is located not far from other famous, historical German cities like Rostoc, and Mecklenburg, and about three hours driving distance from Berlin, the Capital of Germany. Traditionally cruise lines offer a selection of shore excursions to these destinations.

These private vehicle DenRus tours are offered to the passengers of all the ships making a stop in Warnemunde.

Important: If you are for instance a passenger aboard a Princess Cruise line ship, and you have a small private party of just 7 friends and relatives, ask yourself, why should you sit in a crowded bus of 50 total strangers, when you could have your own exclusive private vehicle tour at about the same price. Group Berlin Tour for $ 265 per person

In addition to the above private vehicle tours, DenRus also operates for the third year a most popular “Complete Berlin” group tour of guaranteed departures with the maximum of 30 persons in one group and bus. The duration of our “Complete Berlin” tour is 12 hours, and the price only $ 265 per person. This is about $ 60-100 less per person than the cruise line tours. So, please, consider, why should you ride in a crowded tour bus with 45-50 strangers run by the ship, when you can experience the same in the comfort of a smaller group, and save substantial money.

Prices: See the table attached to the itinerary. The price per person depends on the final number of people sharing the ride with you. Duration: 12,5 hours – a full day tour Starting time: 30 minutes after the official scheduled arrival time of your ship. Transportation: By a private car, van, or motor coach depending on the number of people in your party. Activity level: Very active. However, since this is your own private tour, you have the right to include in your party whomever you wish. You also have the right to modify and improvise the itinerary as you wish, while the tour is in progress. However, if you wish to add totally new admissions to sites and locations, not included in the original itinerary, you are expected to pay for the additions on the spot. Duration: 5 hours – a half a day tour Starting time: Your ship shall stay in Warnemunde for more than 12 hours, so at the time of booking you may decide any starting time convenient for you. Transportation: Transfer to the train station from your ship by a private car, van, or motor coach depending on the number of seats your party will require. The train ride in miniature train cars pulled by an ancient steam locomotive, running on narrow tracks. Activity level: Moderate. However, since this is your own private tour, you have the right to include in your party whomever you wish. Wheelchairs do not fit inside the train cars. W-5	Jewish Tour in Berlin with a Concentration Camp NOTE: This tour is a private vehicle tour of the Jewish sites of heritage and history of Berlin, operated exclusively for you, for your family, or for your private party or group. IMPORTANT: The Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp is closed on Mondays, so this tour cannot be operated for ships calling in Warnemunde on Mondays. Price:See the table attached to the itinerary.
