DenRus: 2007

When the subject of weather comes up many people assume the worst while seeing visions of old photos of ice encrusted cities. Actually most of Western Russia shares its weather with Northern Europe or the upper midwest in the USA. St Petersburg is located on the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland so its weather is actually a little milder than the Russian interior. The high temperatures for summer are usually lower than 80 F. and seldom lower than 55.
